Fresh produce food safety risk management paper

The Food Regulation Standing Committee (FRSC) has developed the Fresh Produce Food Safety Risk Management paper (provided below) in 2017 to facilitate stakeholder discussions regarding food safety management and the fresh produce supply chain. FRSC members from a number of jurisdictions engaged with their local stakeholder groups. Feedback from these discussions with the fresh produce sector informed discussions at a National FRSC Roundtable held in Adelaide on 21 September 2017. FRSC is continuing its work on food safety management of horticultural products. Progress can be monitored through updates to the Food Regulation Activities.
