This document has been developed by ISFR to provide authorised officers, including local government environmental health officers (EHOs), with principles to guide the inspection of food businesses. Inspection of food premises is an important activity to assess compliance with the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (the Code) and food act provisions.
