Consultation on implementing the Health Star Rating system five-year review report recommendations

About the consultation

In December 2019, the food ministers published their response to the HSR system five-year review report and its 10 recommendations.

The ministers requested us (the Food Regulation Standing Committee) to:

• provide further advice on several implementation parameters
• develop an implementation plan for changes to the HSR system.

We are holding this consultation to:

• update all stakeholders on progress
• get your views on whether a proposed implementation start date of 10 October 2020 is appropriate.

Your views will help us develop advice to the food ministers.
