The working group reports to the Implementation Subcommittee for Food Regulation (ISFR).
Authorisation
In June 2018:
- the food ministers requested FSANZ review food safety risk management in the food service and close related sectors
- the ISFR formed a working group to help develop an implementation package.
Status
In December 2022, FSANZ introduced a new food standard that applies to food service and retail businesses that handle potentially hazardous food. See FSANZ Proposal P1053.
The working group is:
- supporting the Integrated Model for Standards Development and Consistent Implementation
- working with FSANZ to develop user guidance and support materials.
